Anna Marie’s Alliance (AMA) Center for Family Peace is the first of a multi-phase project in which BCI has partnered with the AMA and HMA Architects.  Once all phases are complete, this ground-up facility will provide AMA and their team an educational and administration facility to hold training sessions, unique advocacy and educational meetings, and many other opportunities for the community to support and join in their efforts to provide safety, shelter and services to survivors of domestic abuse, while working to achieve systems change that reduces violence here in Central Minnesota and beyond.

There have been many unique aspects of this project to include: creating security and clearance for workers at an active construction site, coordinating the acquisition of land & setbacks from four (4) unique entities, as well as a very thought provoking design process for all phases.  Master planning for all phases of this project has been completed and construction will continue with Phases II & III once funding is secured.
