The CC Plaza Urgency Center was previously located in the lower level of the CentraCare Plaza. When Family Medicine relocated it provided an opportunity for the Urgency Center to relocate to an area next to the main door for easy access, increase SF and increase the natural lighting with all the existing large exterior windows. In addition, this space also has its own exterior door access so sick patients can pass through this door and not have to re-enter the common corridors to exit the facility.

While a majority of the walls remained, there was some demolition to include nurse stations and a few smaller exam rooms in order to create a few large exam rooms. Our work also increased the workability and flow within the remaining nurse stations. In general the entire space was also updated to include paint, new lighting, and assorted new flooring.
