After thirty years of giving stray animals a place to call home, the Tri-County Humane Society was looking for their new forever home. Lack of space, worn out floors, old roofing and an HVAC system in need of repair, leadership decided to move forward with fundraising for a new building.
The new facility is a new ground up, slab on grade, Metallic Metal building. A sampling of what is included in their new home: a new surgery suite implemented all the desired amenities and requirements with increased air volume and welded sheet vinyl floors, lighting and additional surgery prep tables, significantly increased kennel capacity for both dogs and cats which allows for more revenue opportunity and also the well-being of the animals and many more goals met to serve this important community resource for years to come.
