BCI Construction learned about a special project over three (3) years ago and immediately became engaged. The opportunity for Central Minnesota to truly change the landscape of how we interact with tourism, education, and an investment into our children was too good to pass up. We progressively pursued the project where, “no” really wasn’t going to be an outcome regarding partnering on the project.

 

The Great River Children’s Museum (GRCM) in Downtown St. Cloud is now open!  The former Liberty Bank Building space was donated to GRCM, and the dreams have taken flight. Led by lifetime educators, the goal was to build a destination for 200 children to use every day while their minds and bodies play inside of over 23,000 SF of interactive exhibits.  BCI played an extremely active role in the preconstruction process managing RFP’s for professional services, coordinating exhibit design and participating in financing and leading development of this project.

 

The place is the second larges Children's Museum in the state of Minnesota, and is a real boon to Central Minnesota's goal of improving the livelihood and economic impact. Now open, this remarkable museum will serve and inspire the community for generations to come.
