That “favorite dining spot” in the Horseshoe Chain of Lakes has been Jill’s for quite some time; however it was tough to get a table.  Their quaint restaurant in downtown Richmond was not giving them the visibility or capability to get their food to all the Central Minnesota residents and visitors that owners Trish & Dean knew wanted a table at Jill’s Cafe.

Due to a great referral, BCI was introduced to Dean and Trish who shared their vision and goals for Jill’s with the BCI team. Together we worked with the local government to allocate a TIF deal and with the local DNR to properly treat some land for the new home of Jill’s Café.  BCI teamed up once again with GLT Architects who drew up the plans and the vision began to become reality.  With a focus on utilizing many local contractors, the building came out of the ground and is the beautiful building, and home for Jill’s Café that Trish and Dean imagined from the beginning.

Personally, I would recommend the “Texas Toast & Bacon Benedict with Hash browns,” but my daughter would be upset if you did not try the “Monster Pancake.”  In her defense, who doesn’t want a large pizza size pancake for breakfast?

Best of Luck Trish & Dean – we’ll be rooting for you!
