Team Results

Bondhus Corporation needed more space to add an additional tool line and the associated support in their Monticello facility.  With well over 200,000 tools going out the door each day, planning and logistics were key to the project.  Thus, we were presented with a unique challenge; how can we keep the existing manufacturing facility essentially operational, but place an addition where the existing deliveries come in and out of the facility?

With today’s technology of pre-cast wall and deck panels, we are able to minimize construction schedules as much of the time is spent in the shop being fabricated versus on-site.  Even a unique, two (2) story addition can be shortened by months utilizing the technology.  Partnering with Bondhus, HMA Architects, and Wells Concrete, we were able to match a schedule and project plans that met Bondhus’ needs, as well as shift deliveries into a supporting structure to have as little of impact as possible on Bondhus’ operations. Bondhus was then able to utilize the new space in short order while we went around and created aesthetic and functional updates at the exterior of the facility, add and refinish bathrooms in the space, and complete a brand new site plan to add parking, lighting, and substantially better traffic flow.

This was an exciting “before and after” project that we really enjoyed completing for a great client.  American made products and tools are extremely important to us and we were excited to help a great local client ensure that more American made products will be on the market.
