Central County Cooperative was looking for something different. After decades of working in extremely modest, and dated spaces, they wanted to invest in a home that helped attract staff, connect their customers to their services and each other, and still keep the finishes nice, but modest. The new idea of the facility quickly came to life after a program was developed by BCI. Utilizing BCI headquarters as a benchmark, Central Counties adorned office sizes, door types, and exterior facades, and their love of coffee and social interactions are the focal points for their space.

Once a program was identified, BCI quickly identified HMA Architects as their partner. HMA utilized multiple team members to support BCI and Central Counties to efficiently model floor plans, workflow, and ultimately the building that is currently under construction. The project focuses on cost-effective approaches through wood framing, Zip Sheathing, LP Smartside siding, and Marvin windows, but blends in commercial finishes and the aluminum entrance, commercial floorings, and commercial MEPs to make this place smart, efficient, and very cost-effective.

We are proud of the project and think it is going to look, feel, and just be great. With a focus on keeping the process simple, and focused on the client’s needs and schedule, the building almost designed itself once we asked the right questions. We pride ourselves on delivering more projects just like this, for clients like this, for decades to come.

BCI can help you with your commercial space.
